About Musical Theatre Ensemble
Open to all levels, this program focuses on each of the three main concentrations of musical theater: voice, dance, and acting. Great emphasis will be placed on recognizing the relevance of each discipline as it relates to musical theater and preparing students for auditions and musical theatre performances. This 10 week class will culminate in performances in our Educational Showcases.
Registration Levels:
MTE 1: Elementary school
MTE 2: Middle & High school
*5th grade students move up to Triple Threat 2 at the discretion of the teacher.
Neon lights and big personalities! The Winter session dives deep into the colorful and eclectic sounds of the 1980s and 90s. This is the era of the music video and the stadium tour, and our students will learn how to bring that same level of electric energy to the theatre. With a focus on dynamic choreography and expressive storytelling, young performers will embrace the bold characters and unforgettable melodies that defined these two iconic decades.
